A dental implant is a screw-like titanium post that we’ll insert into your jawbone. It provides stable support for the crown, which is the visible part of your tooth. The most beneficial thing about implants compared to other restorations is that they stimulate the bone, preventing deterioration. We offer both traditional and same-day dental implants.
Once we determine you are a good fit, we will place the implants, then allow healing and osseointegration to take place. This process will typically take several months; however, it will differ for each unique patient. We will then place the crowns using an attachment called an abutment.
Instead of having to wait months for dental crown placement, same-day dental implants allow us to place them during the same appointment. This process can also be used for All-on-4®*, a treatment that includes the strategic placement of four implants that will serve as a secure base for dentures.
Single Tooth Prosthesis: Ideal for one missing tooth.
Partial Prosthesis (Fixed Bridge): Replaces multiple missing teeth with only a few implants for support.
Full Arch Prosthesis (Removable or Fixed): Offers a complete replacement for an upper or lower arch of teeth.
Before we begin treatment, we will check your entire mouth for any signs of infection or other oral health issues. If your mouth is healthy and your bone density is high, you’re most likely a great candidate for dental implants. If your bone has deteriorated too much, you may still have an opportunity after a bone grafting treatment.
